Taylor's South Shore Marina was founded in 1968 on the banks of Cowan Lake at Cowan Lake State Park. It has been under control of the Taylor Family since 1985. Tom Taylor actually started at SSM at the ripe old age of 17. The rest, as they say, is history!

The Taylor Family has become one of the most familiar names in the marine industry in Southwestern Ohio. They have received many awards such as Master Technician Certification, Top Ten Lowe Boats Dealer, Top Evinrude Dealer; and several employees have been nationally recognized in trade publications.

In 2018 we relocated to a brand new, larger facility in Waynesville, Ohio. We are centrally located between Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus, Ohio. Our new 16,000 square foot facility is one mile from Caesar Creek Lake and approximately 18 miles from Kings Island. We are very close to everyone in the Warren County, Ohio area and not a far drive from everyone else. We are just minutes off of I-71 from the east and from the west we are minutes from Highway 48 and the Lebanon, Ohio area. If you live in Kentucky, we have you covered as well. We have customers located all around the Northern Kentucky area including Covington, Fort Mitchell, Fort Thomas, Florence, Independence, and Alexandria, just to name a few. If your boating home is near a lake such as Cumberland Lake, Norris Lake, Ohio River, Indian Lake, Grand Lake St. Mary, Rocky Fork Lake, Brookville Lake, Buckeye Lake or maybe you live at one of the private lake communities like Lake Lorelie, Lake Waynoka, Lake Choctaw, Shawnee Lake or Lake Lakengren, then we also have you covered there as well!
